• How are you defining these protocols? "High" or "Low" these are relative terms and often misused. What is the goal you are trying to attain? IMHO anything that prioritizes carbs over fat, or anything else for that matter, is likely missing a better option somewhere else. Ask yourself, "what is adequate for what I need to be metabolically healthy?" You'll find that what works best for you is one person's "HCLF" and someone else's "LCHF". What do you need? • The effect of LCHF on treating weight gain in children taking antipsychotics. Compare metformin (the current recommended treatment by psychiatric guidelines) to LCHF. Non-inferiority study probably best, since metformin is already established as a treatment, you just need to show it's as effective. Good luck with your studies!

• Thank you. I have actually chosen to focus on hypoglycemia and lchf. My husband is hypoglycemic and it has helped him tremendously in the last year. He is basically carnivore now with some avocado and pecans from time to time.
