- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
- Melt Cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until melted. Stir to combine until smooth.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the coconut flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the eggs to the melted cheese mixture and mix well. Then, add the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. The dough might be sticky, but you can use your hands to knead it together.
- Form Crust: Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet. Use your hands or an oiled rolling pin to spread the dough into a round pizza shape about 1/4 inch thick. If you have a springform pan, place parchment on the bottom and press the dough onto the bottom and bake to maintain a round shape.
- Pre-Bake Crust: Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until it starts to turn golden brown.
- Add Toppings and Bake Again: Add your desired toppings and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
