Baked Green Bean Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Prepare Dry Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat Green Beans: Dip each green bean in the beaten egg, then roll it in the almond flour mixture until well-coated. Place the coated green beans on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and the coating is golden brown and crispy. Turn the green beans halfway through baking to ensure even cooking.
  5. Serve: Allow the green bean fries to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them as a low carb, keto-friendly snack or side dish.
